Glad to hear that Doc. I don't know about Texas but Maryland has a point system and you receive points based on the severity of the offense. The insurance companies base your rates on your points or lack of. So the good news is there is no conviction and therefore no points, so your insurance premium stays the same.

Here in NJ if any part of the important pieces of the vehicle description and or DL# or name are incorrect the ticket is thrown out. check what he wrote on the ticket and see if anything else is incorrect.

I'm located in Schertz Texas, between San Antonio and Austin.

If you're looking for a traffic attorney, let me know.
I hired him yesterday and the ticket is gone today

I'd say that was a very smart move and glad to hear! So any details? How/why they through it out?

I think this post says it all?

We also have a points system, but most of the time, you can request to take a defensive driving course and you're ticket will be deferred. Unfortunatly, this was more than just a speeding ticket, so they weren't going to let me get off that easy.

I'm not sure how the lawyer did it. I didn't have to even appear!

Basically, they agreen not to charge me with anything for a few months. If I don't get anymore tickets by then, the charges will be dropped (deferred ajudication).

Anyway, I'm happy with the way it went.

God Bless,
Doc S

Yup, I'm in the area

We bought a 2,500sqft home for under $200,000.

Probably going to sell in the next few years. Only one kid left at home. He just turned 18 on Saturday. He's planning on joining the Navy after he graduates High School.

God Bless,
Doc S
