FYI, Anyone is Colorado with women in their lives that like to go to the range as not to freeze in the winter... Firing Line has no range fee's on Mondays for the ladies!

I picked up a new Troy Defense Carbine that was on a Black Friday sale. In combination with a store credit card the total for the $1100 gun was $720.

Now it is time to save up and set it up for some long range shooting. I'm hoping to be able to get out to 400-450yds with it.

A good ride is one from which you can walk away. A great ride is one after which you can use the bike again.

I think this would be a good place to see if anyone familar with Stag Arms? I've got several rifles and hand guns but I'm thinking I want a nice semi auto target/plinking rifle that fires reasonably priced ammo and I found the Stag Arms Model 6 Super Varminter. It shoots 5.56 NATO, has a 24" stainless barrel with 1/8 twist and a two stage trigger.

Nothing wrong with Stag. I personally have had no issues with their products or quality. In fact, the last AR I built was with a Stag lower.

I think Stag's an overlooked carbine IMHO.
If I had any firearms, I would probably have a few of them...
They and RockRiver make good, reasonable carbines/rifles...

Robert S, I like your Yugo.
I like the last round bolt hold open feature of Yugo magazines (many don't know about this)!

God Bless,
Doc S
