DFW, what exact ammo are you using in it for long-term carry?

I've had a few of these and they're good little pocket guns...
You can make them better by polishing the feed ramps (especially if you plan on carrying just about any JHP...
A "fluff and buff" would go a long way to aiding in the reliability of these little mouse guns. KTOG.Org - TecWerks - CB3's Detailed Fluff & Buff (fluff and buff)- Kel-Tec Owners Group

I used to put 2 ports on the slide/barrel, debur them (slide melt), refinish them in Ceramacoat and shoot the heck out-of-em...

The only thing I hated about these little pistols was the lack of a slide-lock...

They are a great group of firearm buffs...
Much of what's posted on their site is great for other firearms as well...

I almost always polish the feed ramp and other moving parts for my firearms...

I used to carry a couple Kel-Tecs for years (P3AT and P40) and have owned a bunch (P-32, two P3AT's, P-9, P357, P40, Sub2K in both 9mm and .40 Glock configuration, a PLR-16). All of them did what they were designed to do at a very reasonable price!

God Bless,

I just removed the sights from my Ruger 22/45 Lite and mounted a Burris FastFire II.
I think it came out really well and I love how close the red dot is mounted to the upper.

I have been using Speer Gold Dots in it since I bought it. I can't comment as to how effective they are in stopping a threat, but for being carried in a pocket for 1.5 years and then still working like a champ, they are batting 100%.

And I'm sorry for not answering sooner. I have been away at Big Bend National Park for a week or so.

I just came home from the Dallas Safari Club convention earlier today. It was fun but just a little out of my league in terms of firearms. Beretta was there with their full smoothbore lineup and their knock around O/U's were in the $8-10k range. We went upstairs and the Wife found a nice little 28ga for $98k. LOL

We thought "Surely we won't find anything more expensive then this", when just a few booths down there was a dealer with a table full of J Purdey guns going for $255k each. I wish I could have snapped a pic because that is the first and maybe last time I will see $1.5 million in shotguns on one table.
