The only ones I have pics of...
Shotties ![]() ![]() My Glock I got for Xmas... best gift ever... ![]() And my birthday present to me ![]() I really want to stain the wood a beautiful cherry color. I have never stained wood though so I worry I will make it look like it was done with a crayon. I might have to call on a pro. She came with 5 little tiny magazines and one bigger one. I really want to get rid of the tiny ones and get a couple more of the longer ones. Does anyone have recommendations of where I could get a good deal on these? Also, where do you all purchase your ammo? I have heard if you buy online in bulk it is much cheaper.... but from where? Avalon's first AK experience... she did quite well! http://youtu.be/7FngjYfH74E Again Avalon not filming what Im shooting at as much... but there were pumpkins rolling down the hill and exploding. I'm a dork, but I have fun ![]() http://youtu.be/KxWlhOYvbS0

Gun Shows are usually the best place for ammo. It's heavy, so shipping can cost $$...
As for the mags, classic arms, AIM, Cheaper than Dirt are all reputable and good places. Check craigslist too. I see some ammo and mags there sometimes. In Texas, we have a site called, "Texas Gun Trader". It's a great site, since you don't have to use an FFL intrastate to do transfers and can ship directly. Additionally, people post up good deals on ammo (and much of it can be picked up locally). I'm originally from Colorado (Durango area) but haven't lived there in years, so don't know what's legal in that state anymore... That's a purdy Norinco there. Stocks are in great shape! If you like the thunbhole stock, then I'd say refinish it. You can always strip them and do it again if you don't like the way they turn out. If you want a more classic AK look, you can pick up furniture pretty cheap and re-finish it... God Bless, Doc S

Still expanding but I think I'm off to a good start.....
Walter p-22 Charter arms .38 Ruger lcp w/crimson trace Taurus pt-111 Glock 27 Springfield 1911 4.25 with hogue wrap arounds. Ruger 10/22 original walnut stock Rock river arms coyote ar15 20"bull barrel flat top skeleton stock, hogue pistol and foregrip Chinese sks Franchanelli 20(non working inheritance) Winchester 1300 defender Remington 700bdl Trying to decide on my next gun but I'm liking a s&w revolver for some reason. But have been wondering about a .17hmr I'm lucky enough for my wife to agree to me buying a new gun every year for my oldest daughters birthday. It's my reward for being the only man in the house/ or a slight repayment for having to live with all the hormones! My favorite of the ones I have is by far the 1911, solid, proven, great shooting. have a couple ordinary shotties, but this is my new love. Savage .17HMR with the heavy barrel and a Barska 6.5-20 x 50 scope.
I've REALLY been hitting the long range shooting research pretty hard past couple weeks. I have learned a ton! Here's some of the most helpful tips. *Get your scope properly set- if your laying down, should be able to rest your cheek on the butt with your head almost looking down in a completely relaxed position. If you can't see through your scope by simply looking up, than make/buy a cheek rest. * Most helpful tip- use a bean bag in your left hand. Place it under the butt of the stock. Let the butt completely rest on it. Squeeze the bag with your fingers and you'd be amazed at how much vertical movement you can get with so LITTLE effort/squeeze. Also by doing this there is NO shaking/vibrating. The gun sits COMPLETELY rigid! With these 2 tips alone I'm picking off little army guys at 100yrds. I was even able to pick a fly off the edge of my target at 60yrds!!!! ![]() DIY check rest. 2x4, drilled 2 holes through the wood and into the stock. put 2 nails in and it's easily removed. ![]() ![]() Fly from 60yrds
