XD40 for conceal. Bought my wife an SR22 to learn to shoot. My son has my granddad's Springfield 1903 30-06 from WWII.

Hey Doc, do you do any work on O/U's? I was thinking about getting the forcing cones more... well... cone shaped. But then again I'm not wanting to drop a ton of money on an entry level shotgun.

As for guns, the Wife and I have plenty so far. She is more of a rifle, and handgun gal; whereas I am a shotgun and handgun type. And we both like to have fun with the recurve bow, but I guess that is a topic for a different thread.

A good ride is one from which you can walk away. A great ride is one after which you can use the bike again.

Sounds nice, I'd definitely like to get one. Maybe soon, if I can find the money. Thanks for the input.

I guess you can quickly tell them apart by a a PS90 having a top loaded mag, and the FS2000 is bottom loaded... from there I guess this video might show other diferences

Yes, you are wrong. lol

This is a P90

This is a PS90 - civilian model:

And here is a FS2000 like mine:

The difference between the P90 and PS90 is the barrel length and the firing rate. The P90 is selectable fullauto and the PS90 is semi auto only.

The differences between the PS90 and FS2000 are many. I could discuss this all day, but I'll keep it simple. First you can see the design differences above. If you could see them in person, side by side, the FS is larger, heavier than the PS. Also as someone else has mentioned, The PS is top loading and the FS is bottom loading. The main fundamental difference is the PS90 shoots the 5.7x28 round and the FS2000 is chambered in 5.56.

.223(5.56) on left - 5.7 on right

The 5.7 round is pretty cool. I have the Five-seveN which is a handgun that shoots that rifle round:

As for the mags, classic arms, AIM, Cheaper than Dirt are all reputable and good places. Check craigslist too. I see some ammo and mags there sometimes.

In Texas, we have a site called, "Texas Gun Trader". It's a great site, since you don't have to use an FFL intrastate to do transfers and can ship directly.
Additionally, people post up good deals on ammo (and much of it can be picked up locally).

I'm originally from Colorado (Durango area) but haven't lived there in years, so don't know what's legal in that state anymore...

That's a purdy Norinco there.
Stocks are in great shape!

If you like the thunbhole stock, then I'd say refinish it. You can always strip them and do it again if you don't like the way they turn out.
If you want a more classic AK look, you can pick up furniture pretty cheap and re-finish it...

God Bless,
Doc S
Thanks!!!!
