Default Locked & Loaded (not safe for workplace)

Sooooo, after several discussions with other members on this.....

There are quite a few gun enthusiasts on the forum. And in the same type of spirit of the Breasts & Rears threads, I thought it would be lovely to have a social thread to share our Gun love in one place. We can discuss guns & related products, shooting techniques & places to shoot, clubs, show off our weaponry, get help from each other, post fun photos & videos, cool deals & stuff we find, and wishes.

Apparently, there was a thread started on this before, but it was removed because of continual political references. I am confident that it possible for us to have an adult conversation about guns without crossing this no-politics rule.

So, *PLEASE* NO politics! Including NO discussion of gun laws or bills (or even a phantom made-up wish-list concerning laws).

Default Yay!

Avalon doesn't really understand that taking a video also involves WHAT I am shooting at... to also show how the things I'm hitting explode

But, I wanted to start the thread!

Love my Sigs. Wifey carries the 238 in her purse. The .40 is too big to conceal nicely. Been looking at the new 938 and 239.

I can't really contribute much to this thread 'cos I know diddly about guns.

BUT...... I CAN tell you that when I was in Florida in 2010, I visited a firing range and used a Glock pistol.
I don't know what model it was - only that it was 9mm and held 10 rounds I think.
I chose the Glock because a friend on the forum has one and I quite fancied trying one out.
I really enjoyed my first and only gun experience.
I would definately have another go if I ever get to the US again.
There's something about the engineering of a hand gun that has an attraction to me.
I really like ... well ... I don't quite think I can put my finger on what it is that I like about them, but they are a thing of beauty for sure.
The guy in the shop let me (like a typical tourist ) look at a S&W .45 magnum.
Looking on the net - I think it could be described as a large frame model.
I remember it had a really long barrel.
Anyway - I didn't fire it - just held it and admired it.

So - I've shared with you the full extent of my gun knowledge.... didn't take long eh?

I'll be watching this thread with interest.........

Yes, I will have to figure out something for when I get my ccp. I really want the thigh holster & the Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster.... so I will need to figure out what will work best. If your wife is remotely interested and hasn't seen this little ladies videos... show them to her. GREAT reviews of different stuff!
