looks good man! My painter has been bugging me to let him do a new paint job on my bike, which has me thinking about going to a stretched tank too. They really do look awesome on these bikes.

Are you going to be running a belt guard?

Here's an update on the tank :
Gonna beat the tank up a little to see if the JB Weld is the right bonding tool of choice. If it fails, new member HYDRO (Thanks Terry) has a product he is suggesting....

anyway, here's where I am at so far;

hate to say it but panel bond is the only way to go for that mod! i would see what primer or solvent does to it also , before paint or body work. just me . there will be a shitt load of work over top of the jb weld so when it does pop down the drain with the custom job. i would at least tack weld a couple key points if it is possible and panel bond, i know it works flawlessly . looks great so far, btk572
