hahahaaa....ya!!! need to reupholster that thing.....it's still a work in progress....

just a note, that seat is my 2-up seat. I have an oem 02 seat that will get reupholstered with "faux aligator". So I use it in combination with my mustang passenger pillion which creates a back support for me when riding with the wife. The back side of that seat virtually mates, or tucks under the passenger seat.....for a 1 piece look.....works out really well.

But no doubt....it's in rough shape right now....the plan is to get the required shape to fit with the stretched tank....and once it fits properly, locks down and secured into place with no issues, I will then hand it over to my wife who is a MAJOR seamstress..........

Keep practising although I don't know what you can improve on in the paint. I still say that the back of that seat is "butt" ugly however I am sure it will not remain that way. coming along great my friend

by way of update, the tank is done, and my 1up seat is done, (depending on what christo and I come up with for a custom rear fender).

I'm planning a photo shoot once I get all my new flames done which I am in the middle of. What I'm doing, is pulling parts off, 1 at a time. obviously the tank was #1, then it was my oil tank cover, and tonight, my seat lock cover. next will be front fender, then rear fender, then christo's chin spoiler....I'm kinda glad there is plenty of winter left....

last years rookie flames.....

this years updated 3-d flames

The sun was out today, 44 degrees here, rolled her out for some photos; couple more things left to do, here's where she's at for now;

Just read the thread from start to finish. How many total hours have you put in to date? This will be the bike of the month for sure! Great job.

BEAUTIFUL!!! I like how you fitted your tank to the seat. I think I'll have to raise mine up a bit as well.

I think the best look was the "moc up" picture....I am very tempted, and probably will attempt to get it so that it looks like the tank is sitting on the seat....I think thats the cleanest look,..,.,.IMO.....
