Just saw this! Short story - Bass as in guitar! I don't fish. lol
I've always been into bass. I've played a low brass instrument (trombone) for 21 years and bass for 20 years. All my cars had huge systems in them too. I majored in Music and joined a band right out of college. Got signed by a major Christian label and toured for several years (playing the bass). The band's name was Overflow and historically I've always been overflowing with bass anyway. BassOverflow has just stuck since '02 with forum names and email addresses, etc. Now - what about Grizz?

Ok here goes and it's nuts and true.
I found out, as an adult, that as a baby, I was given away in a bar in Chicago. Brought in, in a shoebox. The woman that raised me was not my mother but she chose to have me as her own. I found this out as an adult many many years later. Yes I had suspected somehting but couldn't put my finger on it. As a teen I became a Christian and was chosen to have a relationship with Christ, out of love and it changed my life. Both of these loved me and I am blessed to say the least. Being chosen is awesome. So being blessed and chosen twice in my life, I am twicechosen. Sappy, maybe, exciting, probably not; but it is who I am. TWICECHOSEN. That is why I work with teens today who feel that no one cares about them, I want them to know that someone knows their story and does care.

Like others, figured I would only be around for a very short time, not too concerned about a name, so state and desired activity it was.
Here I am, still here, 2000+ posts later. Who would have thought...

Ok.....I am not the "sharpest crayon in the box".....so I tend to combine words that would not normally go together to use as passwords and screennames so I can remember them ! When I joined the forum....I was sitting at my desk at home....brutal storm goin on outside....and I had a puppy in my lap...soooo Thundermutt ! One of my other favorites is... Norwegian Fire Monkey....means nothing, but is easy to remember !!

Mine is very complicated - yah right - but unfortunately not as glamorous or balsy as some of the others Christo for Christopher and K for Keirstead - christok - the avatar is another story. It is my business logo from way back. I asked my secretary at the time who was also very artisitic to draw me up an original/unique dragon head and this is what she came up with which i liked and used it for my logo and also had it inked on my leg
