Default Any Jeep folks?

I know Ohiomike has one bada$$ jeep. Anybody else? Any forums you could recommend? Any advice or suggestions? I know Jeeps like to empty your wallet. Even more than a Warrior.

I have been looking at getting a TJ, and this one has seriously caught my eye. It's a 2000, 4.0, standard transmission with only 59,000 miles. A co-worker owns it, and it has been babied pretty much its whole life. It has seen very little off-road.

I'm your man for parts. Mopar parts dealer right here . For forum members I do employee cost+tax and ship to lower 48 states. I'm the asst parts manager at Buffalo's largest Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-Ram parts dealer. We also build our own custom JK Wranglers to sell new on the lot that I am in charge of the builds.

Sold mine a few years ago...

CJ7 with a 401 V8, TH400 trannie, Dana 20 transfer case, Dana 60 front and rear punkins with frame over axle lift on front and extra leafs on rear + 4 inch suspension lift, so about 8 inches total lift...
Had a complete tub removal restoration and frame reenforcement.

Had Micky Thompson 35 inch mudders on it.

Had to fabricate a double cardan joint because of the crazy angles.

Pulled 460 HP at the wheels (confirmed via dyno).
Hard to keep the front wheels on the ground.

Lots of fun, but crazy bad on the wallet.

God Bless,
Doc S

I've had 2 TJ's, a YJ, and an XJ. The XJ I turned into a flat black submarine, but the YJ was my rock crawler. J.E.E.P. just empty every pocket.

Had a 94 and 98 Cherokee. 94 was a mild build and was a daily driver, the 98 was rolled so it got chopped up and caged for straight functionality. I will post some pics later when I'm at my computer

I had a 98 XJ for 5 years. Mild lift but no other mods. Great vehicle for camping and exploring fire roads. I sold it to a friend and it's still going strong at 160k.

Here's the Muth'a of all Jeep's:

Lower 40

this is a custom built and heavily modified, one of concept car. there is no lift kit on this. they instead modified the wheel well, frame body and axle in order to mount 40 inch tires...
