So in my quest to trick the eyes with paint, here's something I was messing around with today.....

WOW!!! It's like there's really masking tape around the hub section & rotor, lol.

j/k looks cool...Are you trying to reverse the look of the raw aluminum?

Love the inner part, but don't really like the way the outer rim lip isn't one continuous color.

I dig the center rib, looks almost like it has rivets in it.

not sure what you mean by "reverse the raw aluminum" but YES!!!! I haven't perfected the "masking tape look" yet...

Yeah- in my mind it ruins the illusion. You think you see something, it's all flowing, then you realize it's just a paint job. Capish?

Good work though Gary. I REALLY wish you lived closer. We'd be collaborating...
