These 'true fire' paint jobs are incredible! I also like when the vehicle has stripes with this 'fire' in them and the rest of the body is painted normally with metallic paint.

Those are FANTASTIC! I think the trick to making flames look this realistic, is in the size/proportion of the flame licks: The flame licks on this hotrod are long with a few accent licks, as opposed to short with lots of licks.

Also takes about 5 different colors, and 2-3 different candy colors, layered upon layered on each other......it's really a very cool art form....

check out Mike Lavalee or Ed Hubbs....
Lavalee really knows what he is doing. Hubbs comes across as not quite having as much sensibility.
Also you notice he is not using an extraction system. Maybe it's just for the demo, but I was an airbrush artist for over twenty years and finally had to stop because the atomized paint was getting to hard on my stomach - and that was using an extraction system all the time!

This is really nice. Thinking the flames would look nice in a bike with matching flames on the side of the black helmet. Would be nice to have some overspray on the face shield on a full face helmet too.

I love the real flames look. I had my V-max painted that way.

Check it out....
