Here in the burbs of berlin we have around 2 to 2 1/2 months of not riding motorcycles.
I can't even imagine what it would mean to me to live in Zals neighborhood.... -20 C....? I really would rather change with the Florida-Boys.... |

20 degree weather stinks !!!!!!
We got a few days earlier this week when temps peaked in the 60-70 degree range and I managed to get a cruise in but it's pretty much a done deal here in Maryland as far as warm biking days. Heck, in another week or so we'll be lucky to see any consistant temps above 45 degree's until April 2013. |

When I was in military service.
Well, I was trained to operate heavy vehicles, 18 wheelers, troop carriers, etc.. In Finland the service lasts from 6-12 months, depending on the service branch. And its mandatory for all men, woman can volunteer. Anyway... the service time is divided, so that what ever your service branch is, you'll train your trade in ALL weather conditions... So... you can imagen how many "fun fun"- times I had when the temperature droped all the way to -30c (-22f).. What ever you do, dont get stuck- thats what our training officer said when we started our "hostile territory"-training. And in this case it ment the weather... Nobody wants to come out from the cabin and start putting on some tyre chains in those temperatures... Your might have a runny nose in no time, amongst other things!!!
