It will hurt the restaurant's business, but this is funny as heck to everyone except those particular fat girls, and I say that knowing I'm not as skinny as I was a few years ago!

The bar I used to work had some complaints about much the same thing. I believe our particular complaint that made it to the owner was about the tab labeled 'douchebags'. It only resulted in a phone call the next morning, but that was enough to change "official" policy to only using the name on the card.

I can't imagine they were really all *that* shocked when they saw it.

True haha. Well, plus now that its made public what happened, there are plenty of people who will either side with the girls on a matter of general principle, and/or will worry if they might be the next target of the employees there. That makes me think about the soup-nazi having a great customer base despite. What about a restaurant where every customer's receipt includes a little abuse like this, it could draw MILLIONS like the old restaurant where they would cut-off your necktie when you came thru the front door.

I have to commend the manager for not totally losing it...Imagine them looking at you, chin jigglin, shirt prolly had a stain of butter, and plates that were licked clean while complaining they are not fat, (just big boned).
Nothing a slice of cheesecake couldnt fix... lol Cheap a$$ restaurant. lol

while it seems mean and is a bit its a true statement. they are fat. i think they are lucky he didnt put fat/ugly girls. i was waiting as i read to find the part where the girls were going to sue.

Hasn't been that long ago that those girls would have been embarrassed or at least realistic concerning their obesity and would not have wished to draw any attention to that fact.

The person who put "fat girls" on the check showed poor judgement, but at least they didn't say "beached whales".

This PC stuff is madness.

I'm so sick of everyone getting offended by EVERYTHING. If you're fat, you know you're fat. So does everyone else. If you don't like being fat, do something about it. If you don't mind being fat, who cares? Just pay the bill and go home. Don't go back if you don't want to.
