Default What is your favorite tool

I've been working on some house trim and built some basement shelving to give me some room for trim painting and cutting. So I started wondering what are peoples favorite tool, not necessarily house could be any tool. With Christmas coming I thought it may give me some ideas. Anyhow, I really like my nail guns (framing & finish) but mostly I'd say the finish nailer. I hated having to drive the nails and then following up with the countersink. The finish nailer really is a great tool.

if you're cutting trim those vibrating saws are pretty sweet. You can get a basic one at HF for under 20 bucks now. they come in more handy than you would think. I don't know if it's my favorite tool though. Probably my cross cut compound miter Dewalt is.

I have a compound miter saw also and that was close to my favorite. I remember my old trim days of using a miter box and hand saw, that sucked. But I'm still going with the finish nailer.

I probably use a cordless drill more than any other motorized power tool, but I can't help but to think, my favorite tool is the Dremel.

I've been looking at these a little, how do you like the joints. Is it a special glue that helps swell the biscuit?

My favorite bike tool is my Harbor Freight Bike Stand.

My favorite tools for working around the house is my Mitre Saw & Electric Trim Nailer.

I have several favorite auto tools but my OBD 1 & 2 Scanners tops my list of favorites.
