Default Well, screw you too Wal-Mart

Okay, I need to rant.

A little while ago, my Paypal account got hacked and I had about $300 stolen. Fortunately caught it pretty soon, I know it could have been a lot worse... While I was reporting it, I see on Paypal's site that they claim you're 100% covered in the event that something like this happens.

Paypal commences their 10 day "investigation" and decides in my favor in all cases, everything seems good? I even got complete refunds from all the transactions, except one. The largest charge was $200 to walmart.com, and they gave me a "partial refund" of exactly $1.41, or .7 percent Really, that's just insulting.... Someone actually went to the trouble to determine that was the appropriate refund I guess.

I'm going to try to call Paypal and see what they can do this weekend (I work a night shift, so it's hard to get this kind of thing done during the week). Who knows if I'll ever get the rest of it back I don't think I'll ever buy from Wal-Mart again

like i need a reason to not shop at wal-mart. but i'm confused. you say paypal says you're covered but not by paypal ??. do you mean they leave it up to the place where the money was spent to decide whether or not to give your money back to you? if so, how can they say that you are covered.

I shop at Wall-Mart in-person(yikes) and on-line. Do they make mistakes, yes, but I have never dealt with any other business that tried harder to correct any mistake. They may be slow, but they have ALWAYS been fair to me.

And if you boycott them, you will be missing out on this:

Most of that does not bother me too much, EXCEPT the diarrhea/pee stains...
