Default Rode a bike yesterday, liquid cooled engine, brakes, even lights???

Thats right...even rode it on liquid cooled roads. Did the return trip of 380 miles from Anaheim to Monterey last night and did the last 180 miles of it in pouring rain. The funny thing is as I was riding through it, all warm and dry in my rain gear, cruising up the coast, I found myself laughind at myself cause I was enjoying just riding. My music player had died and I was just listening to the sound of my bike and the rain hitting my helmet and realizing that I was thoroughly enjoying just riding and not being in a hurry to get anywhere. It was dark and raining and I enjoyed it more than the ride down in the sunshine. Now the bike is filthy and needs a real good wash

maybe spray a lil contact cleaner on connections and switches exposed to the driving rain.

I always like riding in the rain too. Well, so long as I have the proper gear. Glad you made it home safe.

Keep those reports coming as we have our bikes tucked away for the winter, up here in Canada. Florida is in sight for my wife and I for the last week in January, at which time I am planning to purchase another Warrior.
Hey Jbat, why wash your bike when you can wash it when you ride in the rain?!!! I could not resist that one!!
Have fun.

I completely understand, I've been there in that frame of mind. Pouring rain for hundreds of miles and water deep enough on the roadway to rooster-tail a hundred feet behind so other traffic stays back, no music going, rain spilling over the visor, open highway in front and not a care in the world except remembering to stop for fuel. Ahhh. Heaven!

Yup, I know that feeling and it's awesome.

Yeah, now I need to wash it and tear it down for H/C pistons and valve springs
