I'm diggin the A-Bone with the SBC mill, Flying Tiger paint etc. That sucker is STILL cool.

These are great!! I love old pics that catch a glimpse at an average day back then. Kinda creepy timing... I just took a pic of my Frito-Lay box truck and one of the icecream vender trucks parked outside a Kroger with the exact intentions of these photos.... to pull out 40yrs from now and just marvel at the changes in both vehicles and in society.

Great pics! I remember gas being 29¢. I worked at a Standard station in the early/mid 70s when gas shot up to a whopping 57¢!! IF you could get gas.

That looks like a 48 or so Chrysler at the Sunoco station, possibly another one in the Barney Motor Car Corp. picture and for sure there's a Windsor/New Yorker in front of the Rainbow Cafe farther on down. I sold my 48 Windsor so I could buy the Warrior.
