Be sure it is not another problem. Are other folks with wells at your depth runnin dry.
We have a water table about 15 feet down that feeds ponds around here.
Then there are aquifers that are waaaaayyyyy deep. One aquifer if fed by water from North East Georgia mountains that get in rock layers and drains down here. While back, Atlanta folks wanted to somehow pump water from here up there...

edit: can your pump be lowered any?

We live on Granite here in Elbert county, only 60 ft down and its solid rock, my well is a bored well from the old home place that was here before i built my house. it's a 2ft round 60ft deep well that was bored in the 1950's. they drill 8in wells into the rock up to 500ft deep around here now to get water. I should have known better when i built my house ,checked the well then it had 8ft of water in it and only 2 gallons a min. really don't want to check the depth of the water now, I can't take it...I need a drink.

That sucks Stevo. Be glad you arent up here...typically $10k here...AND there are several places that have punched wells and never hit water....
