Took the VTX to my brother-in-law's garage to give me some room to get my garage organized. Trying to fit three bikes and two cars into the garage for the winter, along with all the other crap I've collected during the past 15 years in this house. Should have held out for a double deep three car garage...

chopped the back half off of a kaw 1000 frame , added multiple frame braces, an x brace in the front down tubes, pocket notched the keft side frame to clear an offset sprocket to fit a zx 12 wheel on the rear with no stupid asss offset centerline like most of the jackassss do now days, then dropped the seat rails 3.5 inches so you sit in the bike not on the bike.already done a double braced club style chromoly swingarm at 6 inches over. now on to the foot peg reposition and the gsxr front end on the kawi frame, besides that just hangin out doin nothing, lol btk572 ps.. hey shag is that cotton for when you guys run your bikes off the road it doesnt hurt as much, lol. btk572

took my 1973 Ossa DMR out to get it ready for a little shorttracking and found our fuel has eaten the bottom out of the tank. Now in the process of glassing the bottom of the tank. Then going out for lots of fun

I had a Ossa Enduro, back in the early 70s. Used it for commuting and runnin enduros. Ossa's could really slide good, Bultaco's were better in sharp corners etc. Man, that Ossa was fun in sand, gravel, mud, etc. They were good at climbing "snot banks" if you know what I mean...

Took the 99 Aero for a ride, then put in Stabel in the tank and filled her up. Since it is a carburated bike, and 14 years old, care needs to be taken with the finicky old fuel system. Tomorrow I'll shut off the fuel valve and run til it dies, then release the drains from the carburator pots to get the last of the fuel out. She's a bit of a pia, but one of a kind and fun to putt around on.
