Default Helmet lock

I am looking for the piece that the helmet hooks on under the seat, so when the seat is placed back on the helmet is locked in. Does anyone know where I can find one?

I checked Pinwall Vulcan, Goldwing items in PinWall Cycle Parts Inc store on eBay! and they don't show one. Its not a separately available part (correction: yes it is!). Check with 8pack Road Star Warrior Forum : Yamaha Star Warrior Forums - View Profile: 8pack and see if he has one laying around.

That's awesome Alan, I went through a bunch of schematics looking for that Warrior part for my Raider and just couldn't find it. The Raider has a 15" cable that you have to loop through the helmet then loop one or both ends on a hook under the seat. A big PITA. I want to try and mod that part on to the Raider. Thanks.

Well, the seat locks over the helmet hook.

yeah, it's on the left side, under the seat, mounted to the frame just above and to the rear of the seat lock.

I put a second one under the seat so I can lock 2 helmets on the bike, one on either side of the bike, been using it like that now for about 18 months and had no problems from heat from the exhaust.....
