This is more of a caution then a cure for the fogging.

I have tried a few things,m but when I tried the rain-x, my eyes were actually burning.....(ok wise ass, before you even say it....I DIDN'T PUT THE RAIN-X IN MY EYES!!!) lololol......

But something about the gases or fumes given off was causing the eyes to burn,....so be careful with some of those olde time remedies....they just might be painful!!!!

I think they're made from a different plastic too, at least on my HJC. Not nearly as scratch resistant as the outer shield. But it works wonders

I use Fog City Hyper Optiks on my full face and 3/4 helmets, sounds like the "pinlock" style mentioned above but it is also photochromatic, never have a fogging problem.

I've heard that if you wipe the inside of the shield with saliva and let it dry that it will prevent fogging but that sounds kinda gross so I haven't tried it out. No, really. I'm not kidding.

From this page: Anti-fog - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Home recipes

One method to prevent fogging is to apply a thin film of detergent, but this method is criticized because detergents are designed to be water soluble and they cause smearing.[5] Divers often use saliva,[6] which is a commonly known and effective anti-fogging agent.[7] Other home recipes exist, including the application of white vinegar with hot water,[8] or a mixture containing sudsy ammonia, alcohol and liquid dishwasher detergent .[9]

I use a product called Zooke. I got it in Daytona during bike week. It works good and stays on for a good while.

While snorkelling in Hawaii last fall , that was the method used for the mask. They have a bottle of water with some baby shampoo in it . just before going in the water you would splash some in, swish it around and dump it. ( no wiping). Works great for snorkelling ... haven't tried it for biking.

Shaving Cream. I tried it on my bathroom mirrior first to see how well it works.Did a side by side test. Can't say how it effects poly carb, how ever I change out my shields due to scratches but have started to take better care of them @ $50 + each on the Reevu helmet.

I've heard really good reviews about Cat Crap (that's its actual name) on other forums. This review seems to think its a good product, and it seems easy to apply.
