Default pirelli diablo for the rear

I can get this tire 200/50/17 for about $150 + $48 for install. Any opinions or experience with the Pirelli Diablo?

Yeah. Mine lasted 3 months and a couple of thousand miles. It's not really made for the Warrior, but more for a lighter street bike. I would NOT recommend it.

The Diablo is awesome in ways of grip!
But it is a no-go in ways of mileage.

I had a pirelli on my 08 ninja ZX6. Great tire but as others said it wears really fast on a heavier bike like the warrior

+1 ... excellent tire for the track or twisties but the worst rear mileage tire i've purchased for the Warrior
  • Pirelli Diablo 240/40ZR18 Tire mileage: 3,828

Default thanks for the input guys

The Warrior is new for me. My last mount for 8yrs was a leftover 01
bandit 1200s. Before that a new all black 99 Buell M2 Cyclone. Loved it for about 500 miles
Then the recalls came pouring in. After the horrible non-service and extra low grade parts
Were put on to hold it together, I sold it. Leftover 91 Nighthawk before the Buellshat. Further back are used bikes: 82 kaw csr 1000; couple 550s, and a 400. The War is the best
So far with its looks and attitude

I had the diablos on my SV650 and my ZX6R. Loved them. They have a large swing from side to side which allows you to dip really low.

with that said, on a RS warrior, I think it would be a waste of rubber. You have enough weight with these things that you dont really need to worry about slipping out. Put a semi decent front tire for turn in, and your average rear tire.

just my two cents
