Looks cool. How does the dye resist to wearing down and to scratches ?

I had my signals smoked on my 07 zx6r for about a year and a half before I sold it. The dye did slightly lighten after time. This is the fastest, cheapest, and most effective way of getting a quality smoke look. These signals are really bright, so I think it tones it down nicely and night. I was unable to take a decent photo of them at night but managed to get a short video. Anyone know how to post a video?

fantastic !! who knew you could use clothes dye for that! good post and love the pics. To post a youtube vid:
  1. click "share" under the youtube video
  2. select "embed"
  3. then "options"
  4. then click the box for "long link"
  5. copy the URL above the box (click your mouse on it and it will automatically select/highlight it for you. (ctrl C on pc's)
  6. paste it (ctrl V) here into the post window (where you type your forum msg)

When you click preview or submit, the forum servers will (should) convert the link you pasted to the player window so you can just view it here in the post.

example:
in stead of a link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfrdaQDymvc

you have a player window so people can just watch it without going off page

good idea for a show bike but I want to be as visible as possible from as far away as possible at night. If I could rig a hundred flashing LEDs to the bike at night and not look stupid I would.

How does it hold up in the rain? Thats my only concern. Other than that I think I'll try it this weekend. Who Knew?
