AIS blockoff will reduce popping and backfiring. You can read about how to do that in my link to Redhorse Mods.
ECU bump is a free way to change your fuel ratio to be richer. You tap into the ECU setup program and change the settings for each cylinder. Go to my link to Popular Mods and scroll down to ECU
Many members do this and are happy. But many also decide to do something more -such as a Fuel Pak, or a PCIII or PCV, or a Cobra FI2000, or a Cobra Autotune. Do a little searching on those and see what you like, or pick one you might like and post a question or two about it.

This.
Popping will be reduced (not eliminated) but doing the AIS block off.
I didn't notice a huge change in A/F with just an exhaust (V&H BS) on my bike... adding some fuel with the bump or other device will be a benefit but will noticeably stop more popping. (adding fuel at idle and all 0% throttle)
