I have a crack in my battery box from something that must have come from the rear tire. It's a big gaping hole that now has my battery exposed. I have not removed all the electronics yet but this looks like a chore to replace.
1.) Does anyone have this box for sale? 2.) Has anyone ever had to replace this box and what is involved to change it out? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Sean |

Get a piece of thin sheet metal from Home Depot. Pop Rivet it into place. Silicone around it. Cover it in duct tape. Voila. Box is fixed.
not many people have an extra one of these laying around I'd bet...

Arizona, I found the one on E-Bay from Pinwall. Pinwall is actually only about a 1/2 hour from my place, but theirs is already cracked in the same place mine has a good size hole.
Duece, I'm not sure about the West Virgina chrome(Duct tape) on the bike though. Lol. I'll keep searching. |
