Default WTB - Bar End Mirrors

I'm looking for black bar end mirrors, my passenger mirror kept unscrewing and with further investigation the top of the hole is stripped. So after riding around Miami, my buddies and I came to an agreement that bar end mirrors would make the bike look so much cleaner.

+1 on the jokermachine, absolutely love the look and no vibration at high speeds!

Yeah I'm hoping to find someone who wants to sell theirs. Either that or I'd buy just one for my driver side. $80 is a lot of money.

Guys have gotten some cheap ones off e-bay with good results. Heck, one forum member used bicycle mirrors as bar-end mirrors and he swore they worked great -for 7 bucks. There's a thread on it somewhere...

I assume you're saying your brake perch threads are jacked.

I actually don't use those anyway. I took the adapter off my Grim Reapers, and got a bolt that matches the thread which goes into the bottom of the Reapers. This bolt is slightly smaller than the perch threads. Then I simply ran the bolt in from the bottom of the perch up through and into the mirror. Once you bolt it tight it's rock solid and doesn't move. It's not that hard to mount actually.

Now the Clutch side was a little harder, because you can't just run the bolt up through the bottom like the other side -it won't fit into the perch, because the perch slides onto the bars. So I drilled a bottom out of the perch (with it off the bars) and then I could simply run the bolt up through the hole and into the mirror. You have to tighten it about where you want it and then once you mount it move the mirror exactly into place.

I can take pictures if this is something you would consider.

Thanks LD. I might stop by Walmart and try that $7 bar end mirror. I really like the clean look it's giving the bars without mirrors on top of them.

I can't figure out how to copy a web address on my new iPad but do a search for "my new $7 bar end mirror."

Thanks again LD, I seen it. I like the idea and will try it out. What I don't like is how it's not level with the bars.

I love my joker machine, looks like its comin right off the end of the grip. Billet aluminum housing and doesn't vibrate a bit. Not the cheapest mirror but its the best I have run so far.
