Default New RSW Owner in St. Louis

Good morning everyone.

I wanted to say hey and that I look forward to (hopefully) being a useful member of the forum as much as I'm hoping to draw on the knowledge of the other members.

Just bought a 04 Road Star Warrior in October with a PC III, aftermarket air filter, risers, bars and grips, and ground pounder exhaust.

The previous owner hacked the tail light assembly to eliminate the fender, as well as drilled into the metal fender to install some crappy LED blinkers which would have been fine if he would have made some effort to route the wires.

First thing I have done is restore the factory look of the fender and am currently looking for something to plug these holes with. I'm hoping reflectors or something decent that doesn't draw too much attention or look out of place.

Future upgrades will be ditching the aftermarket air filter for something that matches the left side of the motor, would be sooooo interested in a pair of black/onyx covers if anyone has them. I also plan on adding a single piece drag bar with riser. Oh, and I ditched the saddle bags that were on the bike.

Welcome to the 4m. Best place for advice. IF you ditch anything, there is someone on here that will trade, buy or take off your hands for free. I.e. Send me the saddle bags.
Best forum out there.
Like your screen name as I have the same name but chose to go with twicechosen.
Welcome.

Thanks for the reply and the welcome, as well as choosing your screen name, so that I could keep my name, and not need to be creative

I'd be happy to trade you for the saddle bags if you have any suggestions. Otherwise if I can find a box and you'd be willing to pay for shipping....

I'll post a pic of them when I get home today. Hangers and hardware included.

Welcome Steve, best darn forum on the net! Well, except for the no politics rule, but hey, you can't have it all, right?

Assume you are enjoying the beast so far?

Thank you! Love it so far. Took it on the first official ride last Sunday and had no complaints. I have a 94 CB1000 at home as well so a cruiser is a welcome addition.
