Wow, thanks for all the replies and welcome messages!
In answer to some of your questions, I am based in Stotfold, in Bedfordshire and i'd be real happy to meet some other Warrior owners to go out for rides etc. My bike is registered in 2005, but I think it's still the 04 model an - XV17PCSC Previous owners have not really touched the bike, it's done 18000 miles but is really mint. I'm very busy starting the custom work on it, so currently waiting for parts to arrive... Already ditched the exhaust for some nice straight through pipes, and got the V-Bak system on order. I'll be posting up some pics in the gallery soon. Weather is sucking ass at the moment though...

So its a 2004 factory-build California USA model bike, might still have a charcoal cannister on the front frame under the steering neck. There should be a white sticker under the rider seat with 5PXB on it?
From thread: Service Manuals by Model Year XV17PCS* (2004) (S = 2004) 5PXA for U49 5PXB for California 5PXC unknown (possibly Aus/NZ/SA/Can) [Added} the appended 'C' on your model number indicates California.
