I'm 6'-4" and use the Batwing with spoiler windshield, works great but would go taller if I were riding extreme distances at interstate speeds because at aroud 85 the air begins to buffer on my glasses. If you were goggles or full face helmet you would be fine. take a look in my album to see it on.

I use a Memphis Shades windscreen and I love it. NO buffeting period. I like the mix of an old school windscreen with this bike. The new windshield's don't match the look IMHO. They belong on an all plastic bike like the M109.

I'm liking the style of the Clearview and Big Shots. One solid piece of plastic with no metal bars going across.
Really not impressed that Clearview requires you to have the boulevard brackets and Memphis Shades makes you buy the mounting hardware separately. Has anyone tried the Givi screens? Last edited by theAmazingKickstand; 12-09-2012 at 01:59 PM. |

and IMHO the clear windscreens look like an old man but to each his own. I really like the looks of the bullet fairing too but don't think it will block much wind at all, still gonna get one for around town bike night rides though!!
I guess that's why there are many choices, can't make everyone happy with fried chicken, some guys like it grilled or baked!!!! lol

I kind of agree about the clear ones. They look like they should be on a goldwing.

Here in SF we eat fat free baked chicken with no chrome.
You guys really think the 70's CHP screens with metal look more hip than clear ones? I'm not opposed to a Batwing type thing but it would look silly on my blue with flames bike. Still waiting on my chaps and tassels....back ordered. |

![]() Seriously, I use the Yammie Blvd cut down 3 inches, perfect balance at 80 mph, for my 5' 9" height. Just enough air to keep me pushed back a lil. No buffeting at all, solo or with passenger. Also use helmet with small spoiler/fin on back of helmet. BTW, I do not have bad vibes at 80 mph, compared to sport bike buzzzzing. . . |

I kind of think anything looks better than a batwing, but if you want one that's cool. I'd think there would be a ton of places to get tassels and chaps in SF. Maybe you should try someplace else?
