Like I tell everyone. If you ever come here to visit, you may never want to leave. This place is "paradise" in so many ways. Not perfect, but close.

You're always welcome. I'll meet you in BKK, and we'll start there, but plan to stay a month.

3 years ago I would have been on a plane before I finished reading your reply. Alas, my work and life situation has changed (custody of children, etc.) and I don't have the freedom I used to. Need a couple years and then I dare you to try to keep me away.

Ricohoc, you should add yourself the Warrior world map. You'd be the first and only in Asia.

I eat Thai food every day and hit a few Vietnamese restaurants regularly. In fact, my buddies and I hit a Vietnamese restaurant every Wednesday for lunch. All the food is great. Lots of expats living here who don't like Asian food. I'll never understand them. LOL

If I buy that Warrior, I will add myself to the world map.

Kop kuhn Kop!

Two points to make:

One, I have backpacked all over the world and Thailand is by far my favorite country (and not just cuz I like the food!) I spent 2 months there and regretted leaving. I only wish it was closer to make more frequent trips. The Brits are lucky that way!

Two, this is the best forum on the net. The people here are great and you will find the answer (or someone will give it to you) for any possible question you may have!

Man, your choice in retirement locale and motorcycles makes me think we were twins separated at birth!
