Ok more questions.
Noticed how good Fuz and Carl's bikes looked with those headlights. Can anyone advise what the bulbs are and where to got them from?

I think there are a few of us keen on them.

It's a HID kit our mate imports and sells for around $60. If you get a few orders I'm sure he will do a good discount

They are plug n play. Very simple and enough cable to put the ballast in a few locations. ie: under seat or tank etc

We're just gonna have to go through a little fault finding exercise on the weekend first before i hook you all up with these lights. mine is having some drop out problems and i dont want it to happen to anyone else. once we've sorted it i'll start taking orders and handing them over to the importer.

, I've installed 2 HID kits. Both of them went to the "dropping out" phase and then eventually died completely. In both cases it was the ballast that died. The first ballast I had mounted near the engine and wondered if the heat was the problem so the second I located on the battery and ran long cables.

At the moment I think the ballasts don't like the vibration.

I have had a 3rd HID kit sitting in my garage for 12 months now and when I do get around to installing it it'll be on some soft, vibration absorbing, neoprene rubber or similar.

They're just my observations, hope they're helpful. If anyone else can "shed some light" on the problem that'd be great.

Yeah I'm figuring its heat at the moment cause when I'm cruising around 60 its constantly dropping out but over 80 out stays lit...

I've already expressed my interest so keep me in mind when those kits become available. I'm happy to test all different mounting points for said ballast thingy, and I'll make it work.

got it sorted boys. changed the wiring loom to give us a bigger resistor. seems to have done the trick. i'll get you some pricing details ASAP.
