This sounds great mick. End jan for a look sounds good. Also end may looks promising so far as the date, no objections as yet.

As a former resident of Bathurst and working in the area both in Lithgow and Oberon for ten years, I think you should be aware that the end of May is quite nipply to say the least. The days are mostly clear and sunny, but there is very high likely hood of snow, black ice, sleet and fog that last all day long as well as severe frosts. That should keep the vics happy anyway , but not sure how the northeners would handle it. Just as a sample, I got Hyporthermia one day whilst working near lithgow in December? Took 3 hours in a hot bath to stop shivering? And a friend of mine I spoke to yesterday said they had a light dusting of snow ? And they were back in there flanelettes?
Mostly a high summer location out that way if your riding? Unless you are Tosh or Victorian? Sorry to dampen the enthusiasm, but that the facts? Would be good - but would need to be in summer? Make it Feb or March maybe? |

January ride is my only option due to work and Christmas holidays, so I'm in for January just suggest some dates and see what suits anyone wishing to go for a look.
BP, you missed Fuz and Kp for another snowy ride. They loved the last one so now they're hardened up and ready for another. Just don't tell Fuzz if there are any spare wet weather gear available, he's a bit tetchy on that. Tosh. Sent from my HTC One X |
