I dont want to start a new thread for this, do you think id be able to securely strap the luggage bag to the rear seat without a backrest? It says you need a backreat for the bag to be secure

Do you think the Daily Tour bag can be strapped down from its D-rings to tie-down points without a backrest?
[Added} Never mind, I found the instruction sheet and it can be used without a backrest. I'll do some measuring.
