I also have a Gas Tank from a 2008 Midnight Warrior. It was damaged on both sides, so I took it to a professional bodywork repairing shop to get the dents fixed properly. They repaired it totally, and now it's in the condition that the surface needs to be sanded and primered before painting. It's tested by the bodyshop for leaking as well, and according to their testing it didn't show any leaks.
The gas tank weigh around 18 lbs, and I checked the shipping charges via Itella Postal Service from Finland to the United States. It shows the shipping would be EUR57.00~$74.45 as a Priority Post Package (packages up to 22 lbs).
The professional bodywork to fix the tank wasn't cheap (only the repairing costs were EUR250.00~$326.00) plus I paid $80.00 for the tank, but if somebody is interested about it, and wants to make an offer - please welcome
