It does sit you forward and up a bit, but if you do it like me you have the dual tour for long trips or for the girlfriend, and rock it solo for around town. I had my stock seat modified and for short rides or if you want to your bike to look its best just keep the solo seat and have the best of both worlds. Once again id recommend this seat
