Star Touring Chapters #161 and #209 often have rides through the Santa Cruz mountains OR down Hwy 25 then through Fort Hunter-Liggett TO the coast then UP to Big Sur...join us if you can...The rides are posted on BOTH their Facebook and regular sites...PEACE RIDE SAFE...P.S. the rides are at a fun but safe pace and are 99% backroads...

As the rides come up for Star Touring Chapter #161 and Star Touring Chapter #209 I WILL POST THEM ON THIS FORUM....Often the two chapters will ride together...There are Raider and Warrior riders in BOTH chapters....PEACE RIDE SAFE....

We've been having rain in the San Francisco/Monterey area off and on for the last month sooooooooooo scheduled rides are always short notice....You may want to check (Monterey Star Touring Chapter #161) and or (Star Touring Chapter #209) FACEBOOK SITES for scheduled rides...Star #161 has a new president and she loves to schedule 'backroad' rides (on these rides you'll answer the question as to WHY the Yamaha design team used the R1 front end on the WARRIOR and WHY many forum members have gone to using the 190 50 17 or 190 55 17 rear tire and HIGH EXIT slip-ons) to interesting places...IF you're in the area please join us...I'm not the only Warrior rider in the group...PEACE RIDE SAFE

FEB 17TH (SUNDAY) there will be a ride to ALICE'S RESTAURANT in the Santa Cruz Mountains...IMPORTANT (Please check Monterey Star chapter #161 FaceBook site for when and where they will leave!!!!) There will be riders from San Clara Star Chapter #209 and Internation Star Chapter joining us...It's a beautiful ride through the redwoods...PEACE RIDE SAFE
