I want to do Joker mirrors like yours but figured with the stock grip on the throttle side there would be a gap. Not on yours. Outside of removing the tab and sliding the grip outward....so how did you make it work? Clutch side would be easy enough to slide out and meet the bar end mirror. I have TT bars and there is nothing blocking the way for an insert.
Saw the pic of the covered bridge on your sig...looked familiar and saw you were in W. Pa. Where are you located? If close, maybe meet up and go for a cruise?
Hey buddy, how was Thunder? Were there as many people there as before? My tins are taking longer than anticipated. I should have them friday or next monday. Maybe we can hook up when it's done. Later
thanks Dave,
I've gotten a hold of a couple of throttle grips, one was bent all to heII and the other looked like it had been chewed on by a rather large dog. I'm still not in any rush, the bike is still in about a hundred different pieces, I'm repolishing all the parts I had done and doing the ones I have to replace.
No problems Dave,
Yeah it's going to be a few weeks before I get to the point of installing the grips anyway so that is not a problem. I'll take any parts that you care to donate, even if I already have one of them, the ones you have are probably in better condition since they never tumbled down the interstate after smacking the ass end of an F-150. If you'll email me at cadfather@charter dot net, I'll get you my shipping address.
