The Gel Pad was installed by Jeff Krune of Krune Custom Upholstery in Blackhawk SD. I have since purchased a later model Solo Seat which also has a Gel Pad in it. This seat was modified by someone here on the board Kruze or something like that. I bought this solo seat to facilitate adding a sol fender rack on to the bike as i always ride solo and wanted a driver backrest/rack for my longer trips.
