I thought I took pics of the in/out of the failed tire but can not for the life of me find them. But the fact is you could peal loose patches of rubber off the inside sidewall where the tire was separating. i tried using less pressure and pushed it hard in the corners trying to get used to the handling characteristics and probably pushed it to it's limits. But since I built my bike more for show I chose to install a different CT (Federal) and simply keep a closer eye on it. I'm also walking away with the assumption that I should keep the pressure around 32 lbs.

    thanks Dave,
I've gotten a hold of a couple of throttle grips, one was bent all to heII and the other looked like it had been chewed on by a rather large dog. I'm still not in any rush, the bike is still in about a hundred different pieces, I'm repolishing all the parts I had done and doing the ones I have to replace.

Hey bud, lost track of the throttle grip because i get halfassed email notifications. Hers the deal, i am internally wiring my buddies carlini bars right now (limited time due to work) hopefully be done with them next weekend. I destroyed his left side iso removing it because the dealer used a whole tube of liquid nails on it (or something) but he is replacing his grips anyhow, which i am also. Mine need a god cleaning, good candidate for black, but his throttle side is only a couple months old. We should be getting his new grips in a few weeks, so....if you are not in a huge rush, i will send you either one, it just wont be immediately. At least a couple weeks, as him and i work together and are on the road all week. I have some other bits and pieces laying around i am willing to donate if you can use them to get your bike back on the road..dave
