This is the same bike that I totaled on September 18, 2006 that resulted in my stroke and having to walk with a limp the rest of my life. I rebuilt it myself, using it as both physical and mental therapy over the next 8 years. I put it back on the road close to the way it was before the crash with a few new modifications, just like me.
I've polished the wheels, rear pulley, swing-arm, brake mount, calipers, transmission cover, 102 cover, pulley cover, rear brake and gear shift lever, fender stays, fuel cap, transfer case, tach housing clutch cover, and timing cover, control housings, forks, triple-trees, upper brake res. and foot peg brackets, also every stainless bolt on the bike is polished by me. I painted the bike in my garage as well as all the rebuilding work on the bike was done here at the house, with one little exception that I couldn't do here as I didn't have a TIG welder at the time. (Big thanks to that member, you know who you are.)
