I already had the PCIII kit installed and mapped to a set of big shots & I also had the filters & cones installed prior.
The pipes take 5 minutes to install. Its extremely easy.
My big problem was the combination of supreme legend forward controls and the pipes cause my boots & riding trousers to come in contact with the pipes (which get VERY hot) and I now have melted velcro and burnt leather boots & 3 pairs of dragging jeans with big burn holes in the leg. This doesnt seem to be the case with other set ups, but in my case it is.
Also, my pipes discoloured extremely quickly & I repainted them soon after with BBQ heat resistant paint (they actually look better IMO)
When fitted, the set up runs as good as the mapped setup with the big shots (200k's plus on a tank before reserve coming on)
Hey I am looking to purchase the morton executioners. Wanted to know ur feedback on the pipes and Morton custom... Secondly did u install ur pipes and did u purchse the cones and power commander. Thanks so much just big purchase and want to make the right one.
I'll flick an email around with links to a few freinds and see if anything comes of it.
Have you decided if you are going to buy a new bike? I keep looking at the new Super Tenere and cant quite get my head around parting with my warrior, but the finance comittee wont let me have another road bike.
Good luck with the sale, and if I hear anything, i;ll let you know.
Gringo, Just wanted to say thanks to all who contributed to my thread. Bike is for sale now on the 3 main sites and received 3 scam offers in the first 2 days. For some reason my username and password arn't being recognised on this site at the moment so I will update the thread when this gets sorted out.
