    Clutch cable

    Hey Guys,

    Just wondering what the difference is between barnett clutch cable and the regular stock one? Is it worth the difference?

    Thanks

    I just installed a Barnett stainless steal one with the Barnett clutch plate about 6 weeks ago. all the fittings and adjustments are nicer and it felt like my stock one was stretching and I had to grab more lever then with the Barnett one once properly adjusted.

    I don't remember the difference in cost, if there is one but it's definitely a better engineered product and won't stretch once adjusted. Their new High Efficiency clutch cables feature a nylon coated inner wire and are better yet IMO! Here's a couple of photos of the Barrel & swaged ends after 22,000 miles Wink Just like new... no deformation or twisting

     Can't say I've noticed a lot of difference in feel after a few hundred miles, but do like the look, and needed more length anyway.

    Yeah the stock one is black and Barnett also offers a choice which is black.

    Re: Clutch cable

    I just had to put the stock clutch cable back on which I carried as a spare and it pulls so much better than the Barnett which was so much better than the Baron's. I was amazed stock was so much better. The aftermarket SS ones look much better though:}
