    Marco Polo:
I'm surprised you needed them even without the stock airbox

I find them really comfortable and I think the stock left AIS cover would have bothered me some when shifting without the spacers.

Now I need a lower cowl to blend them into the bike some.

BTW: Thanks for the mirrors...Big Smile

I hear ya, I've been wanting a low and mean since I first saw one but they're just so damn expensive and that's even without paint.

Glad they got put to use, I just hope you can see out of them well enough!

Those look great on there Sira. Glad the spacers worked out for you too! As far as pictures...the blurred look is very cool. I'm actually going to try to get a page up with customer's rides and would like to post yours up...think the brake side would look really cool. I think it's a great showcase for the controls, and it gives bragging rights to those whose bikes are on the site!

I'd like to see Marco's monster as well. I feel as if I have a personal relationship with it by now...LOL. Marco...can I have my other master cylinder back now?

No, I sold it on ebay for $3.27  Stick out tongue  Of course you can, sorry it took a bit to get to but it's going out today.

I'd post some pictures but for some reason every time I upload new pics in my gallery recently they can't be expanded when you click on them.  I take all my pictures with my 3.2MP phone camera anyway but if I get lucky and get a decent one I'll email it to you.

Seriously, watch my phone quit working now from just taking pictures of it.  Did I tell you that I had new tires mounted on and ended up with a slow leak I just got fixed?  Turns out whoever mounted it got a rag caught between the rim and tire and instead of taking it back off to get it out just ripped it out and left just enough of it just inside to cause the leak for me.  I've been a riding fool the last 4 days though now that everything is all good finally.

No.  Luckily for Sira those mirrors came off the non-cursed bike before the Warrior.  The V-Star has never had a single problem.  Big Smile  Now where's some wood for me to knock on....

Re: New spacers for your Supreme, Barons or Phat Warrior forward controls are coming next week!

I finally got my spacers installed last week and took it out for some test riding.  It is more comfortable for me even though I no longer have the stock left scoop and right side airbox.  My left leg no longer rubs the rear Dyna coil I have mounted on the left side motor mount, that is a plus on saving my riding jeans some serious wear and tear.  The up 3/4 inch has definitely moved the controls slightly closer to me and makes shifting easier since they were previously on the verge of being to far away for my height.  I thought the ground clearance was going to suffer but I didn't really notice any real change in that area of performance which I am pleased about.  As an added bonus the bike looks even wider now and I like the look very much.  The parts are machined very nicely and the chrome hardware that came with the spacers looks great!  I have to say that so far I am very happy with these spacers and wish I had them a long time ago.

    Marco Polo:

Good pictures Sira.  I like those mirrors on there and your new pegs and grips are looking sharp as well.  Those new spacers make such a drastic improvement for comfort and fit and it's a nice bonus that they don't stand out or look odd but I'm surprised you needed them even without the stock airbox.

I was thinking the same thing. I have my bike cleaned both sides... so I said, OK I might not need them.
Then I thought how comfortable it is to strech your legs at a movie...

So why not have the same feeling on your bike? Smile
You can barelly see them and Sira's pics show very well why you want those in black, not chrome.

I will post pictures with mines tomorrow. Don't expect the same photo skills Sira showed off, hehe.

BTW, Sira your matching grips looks killer. I ordered a pair of Supreme grips from DennisKirk also to match my controls... but they are to short. I need Bill to have them changed for the right lenghts...

    Teck,
I would go back through Dennis Kirk, as they would be responsible for all the freight, otherwise you're paying additional money back and forth. If it's $20 to ship to Canada, you have to ship to me, plus I have to ship to you so you end up $40 in the hole for Dennis Kirk's mistake.

I'd think you'd want them to pay for that since they sent you V-twin grips instead of Yamaha grips.

    Just my .02 on there.

Okay,  I got my spacer blocks, but I'm having issues with hardware. My forward controls had the button head allen bolts. When I removed them from the foot controls and tried to use them on the spacer blocks, the button head did not fit into counterbore on the spacer block. I rummaged through my miscellaneous hardware and found that a socket head bolt, like in the picture, works great. Problem is I only have 2. These are M10, 1.25 pitch, 40mm long. I can't find them in any hardware store here! Anyone have any suggestions on where I could get the (stainless or plated) hardware I need? The only place I found online wanted $7.50 per bolt. Thanks.

Why are you the 1st to respond to this problem w/ the c'bored holes?  I did bring this up early on to the vendor Surprise ... and here's the replies: BTW, McMaster-Carr has M10-1.25p x 50mm soc cap scr's in plain finish @ $7 for a package of 10 pcs DIN912 Class 12.9 & there is nothing better than that on Planet Earth!

    AlanH:

    bozack50:

    Yes,

All the new controls will come with the new spacers and the master cylinder. They will be available starting next week.

Marco can also tell you how much better the new master cylinder looks than the old one. No huge difference other than some nicely rounded contours on the front face and the bottom. But it smooths it off drastically and really enhances the look.

Likewise....I called the chrome shop and told them just to polish the spacers so that I can get them to black anodize. Unless I get some influx of requests for the chrome, we're going to leave it at that.

Oh, and our controls actually come with a horn relocation bracket...no sure if Phat's current supplier is providing that right now.

Billl ... i see you have c'bore holes in the spacer. Not sure what you're using for mounting to the Warrior frame, but the OEM peg support brackets use a modified button head bolt, M10 x 50mm lg -1.25p w/ 0.695" head dia or 18mm nominal O.D. Wink  ... then again you probably are suppling new soc hd cap scrw's Smile

    bozack50:

    Alan...dare you question me?? LOL.

The head on the existing socket head which has been provided on the controls thus far has  anywhere between a .590 and .630 diameter. The c'bore is .655 diameter which should allow for adequate clearance after chrome. Remember....as the post says, this is for Supreme, Baron's or Phat's control, all of which were Supreme controls at one time. I don't imagine they've done anything to change them.

Either way, with the new controls, we've always provided the bolt, so this spacer will have the appropriate M10 x 1.25 bolts, hidden well inside the counterbore for cosmetic purposes, and will then include a "pretty" 3/8-16 button head bolt to mount your plate to the adapter. Much more sightly than the socket head that has been provided thus far. Unfortunately, stainless button heads are not easy to find in metrics for some reason, and so I believe that may have been some of the reason that the original design was done with a socket head for the mounting plate.

That's about it. The Raider control that I'm finishing.... bolt head on the stock mount is .710 diameter so I've counterbored .750...just thinking ahead in case you come visit me on the Delphi forums Alan!! LOL.

     Thanks for your input.
