Mark.... it's time you think about making some very serious performance up-grades to the Warrior Wink ... your wife must be an interesting woman Yes

I almost bought the m109, but the suzuki guy wouldn't let me even test ride it without committing to it. Remind her the warrior looks waaay better.

Thanks! Alan, that's not what I wanted to hear...

She likes the styling, she don't know of the performance potential yet..... I think?

The M109 has the power, but I found it to be way less user friendly when it came to cornering, handling and doing a wheelie.

    Re: Wife's Bike Prospect

I have heard some good things about those bikes. I don't mind the styline either as it is unique but not so much that it is distracting. One thing that i think makes the warrior so much better looking is the ability to clean up the rear light assembly. If that could be done to the Suzuki then it would be that much better.

She will be getting power, but I can't get past that headlight and cowling or whatever it is.

The only negative connotation i've heard/read repeated regarding the bike is the excessive use of plastic. I happen to think it's a great looking bike if you don't mind big, shaft & liquid cool but it does sport a 240/40 on the rear and she's going to be out distancing you at the pumps Smile

You can paint it to look like a warrior

    Well at least my Warrior

It's funny how Sukduki released this paint scheme the year following my bike staying on the homepage for a few weeks.  Hmmmm

I'm waiting on my royalty checks, but I stole the idea from the AC Cobra.

There is a trade-off to being crippled, you get the best parking, but the limping really sucks.
My wife calls me "Ol' 2-stroke," but I've never owned a 2-stroke bike in my life, I can't figure out where she gets that from. Hmmmm?

You can PM "Fraggle1" and find out the good and bad points. He has both a Warrior and the M109.

Motorcycles are great some of us ride them and some just like to look good standing next to them.

    Re: Wife's Bike Prospect

I think the bike is cool looking until you get to that ugly headlight, YuugghNo. My brother in-law has one, took it for a ride in 07" prior to buying my warrior. Took it through some back roads, I wouldn't even call them twisties. Ya really have to muscle the bike to get it through turns at a reasonable clip. All that said 2 days later I bought the warrior. Cool Good luck

Its a personal choice so you know she needs to get what ever she wants.  Big Smile
