    Warrior vs. M 109R

Saturday I was minding my own business riding home on the highway. When I brand new orange M 109R pulls next to me. The guy was in his 40's and looked over with a big grin on his face. He then proceeded in droping down a couple gears and jumpin on the throttle. The highway was pretty open, so I figured why not. I dropped to 3rd at about 70mph. We both hammered down. I hit it just slightly before he did and got a half bike that he couldnt gain back to 120mph. We came into traffic, and he gave me a thumbs up. I gave him one back. He was not done though. We both weaved through traffic a bit till we got another clearing. Dropped back to 3rd again, and both took off. This time we both hit it at the same time. We were dead nuts even all the way to almost 130 this time. I was impressed with my bike as he was. I got off the next exit with a big grin on my face.

I dont have alot done to my warrior, and stock to stock he should have walked me pretty good. I have the hardchrome sideburner exhuast, and barons BAK, and a map I have been playing with. Not dialed in by any means. I got an appointment at a local shop to get it tuned on the dyno. Going to get a baseline as it is verses when tuned.

All in all was a very good time, and my little warrior did well. Proud of her LOL

    wooh!

I've ridden the M109R and it certainly is a fast beast, but there's just something about the way my Warrior pulls that's a little more thrilling to me. Maybe I'm just biased, but my grin is a bit bigger when I ride my bike than any other cruiser on the street.

    I guess she's a keeper! Smile

    for shi(r)ts and giggles!

    it might be quicker.

The 109R is just a oversized wantabe. The origional owner of my warrior(when stock) bought a 109R after regreting trading the warrior.I have talked to him several times and he has since sold the 109.He stated it didn't come close to the warrior. They may have a bigger motor and tire but they are all around bigger.

Way to hang in there, glad to hear it. While the 109 is fast, I couldn't stand looking at it in my garage, way too ugly.

Your race proved that your balls are bigger than a rider on a M109.

They will not race me so far but they have a higher top end than the Warrior.

Congrats to you, I think you were the better rider and more ballzie and hit WOT faster then he was because a 109 should of walked all over a stock Warrior.

I concur - we were at some bike drags last fall and the 109s were like a second faster than the Warriors.  There was one there that was in the high 10s...

Remember that government spends money only by taking that money out of the private economy. Put another way, when government taxes a dollar to “create” a job, it has taken a dollar out of the private economy that is no longer available to the private economy.
