    Recalls

I just picked up my new warrior a couple months ago from the dealer and am seeing all the recalls.  Is this something the dealer needed to do.  Although I don't want to bet my life they had it done, is there a simple way I can find out if necessary recalls were done on my bike?  Thanks in advance.

    Re: Recalls

Odds are the recall for the '07 was done before you bought the bike.  Here's the info:

    List of Recalls:  http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/fmc/home.aspx

    The Pick-Up Coil Recall: http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/fmc/factory_modification_letter_M2007-003R.pdf

The dealer can tell you it was done.  The dealer would have made a punch-mark on your bike's VIN number and since yours is a 2007 it should be the only punch mark there.  Sorry - I forget what digit the punch mark is factory-specified to be made at.

There's a little more info in Popular Mods (see link in my sig below).

    Hope this helps.
