Re: My Dad went home to Jesus

Prayers go out for you from Georgetown, KY. I too lost my Dad and my best friend on 31 August, 2004. I know it will be very hard for you at this time,..but be strong for your family during this very difficult time for everyone. Spend time with your family and loved ones. Your Father is looking down from Heaven and watching over you all now. Prayer will help comfort you and all else who knew and loved him. I'm very sorry for your loss. God Bless.

Matthew 10:32...'Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will acknowledge him before My Father in heaven. But whoever disowns Me before men, I will disown him before My Father in heaven.'

God bless you my friend, I know exactly what you are going through. I lost both of my parents within six months of each other last year after long illnesses. Things haven't been the same and my faith even faultered a time or two from lack of understanding and the pain of the loss. But I didn't lose complete faith in our Almighty God and I know that He is the only one who can comfort you. Nothing can replace your loss but you can and hopefully will look forward to the HUGE reunion you'll have in His presence.

Christ be with you, prayers sent.

Frank, I'm sending and will keep you and your family in my prayers. What a comfort to know he is in the presence of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior. I can understand the best friend part. Know, as you do, the next time you see him will be the best time the two of you ever shared.

I am saddened to read of your fathers passing, and am truly sorrow for the hurt you are feeling.  But your father left behind a great testimony, and for that you can be thankful.

There is not much that i can say that has not been said already. Just try to remember the good times and the type of man/father he was. That will always keep a smile on your face. When my dad pass'd back in 1987 i was able to cope better by celebrating his life, and not concentrating on his death. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and yours in your time of bereavement. God bless from Tampa, FL

I know I dont know you but I feel the pain in your loss.  I lost my mother in '91 and still think of her every day.  nothing anyone says at this time will help but time will ease your pain. stay strong
