I have recently purchased a 2002 Warrior and I need to replce the back tire. Right now it has the stock Dunlop 220 on it. Any suggestions on what I should replace it with?

Stock tire is a 200/50 r17.

As for replacement tires, ALOT of guys in here have swapped out for a Metzler or Avon and I 'think' the Avon gets the best mileage of anything else anyone has tried.

Avon Storms are the best for me. I will buy them again next time around.

I've gotten alot of mileage, 7k, with another 4 or 5 to go from my Avon Storms.

I got 11k of hard riding on the last Avon Azaro ST.  The tire was replaced with a Avon Storm and it seems to be wearing like the last one so far (not showing any wear).  I got 4200 miles on my Dunlop before I spun the center out of it leaving Home Depot and had cords showing before I got home.  You won't be disappointed in the Avon if you go that way.  By the way, I ran with Avon on rear and Dunlop on front for 8k and never had an issue with handling.  I think that combo handled better than matched Avons.

I've had great luck with Avons. I had the Azaro and now I'm on my second set of Storms which have 6700 miles on them since mid June. I bet they have another 1000 miles let at least and I change my tires early:}  I can't see where you're located but if a lot of your riding is on the plains, I would look at the two compound tires, such as the Michelin Pilot Road 2, which give a harder compound for all that straighter riding and a softer compound for better grip in the corners. My Storms have worn a flat area down the middle of the tire since most of our 6300 mile trip was on straighter roads. I wonder if these dual compound tires will help much. The other good one is the Dunlop Roadsmart. One or both of these are only available (I think now) in 190 and not 200 rears. Should add a little 'flickability' with the 190 I hope:}  A great source for tires is www.swmototires.com with free shipping if you order two tires.

I've had no experience with the Metz. The 210 will fit the stock swingarm for a beefier look:}

The Metzler Roadtec Z6 is a great tire for both the front and the rear. They are OE on the BMW K1200R and some Ducatis. One word of caution though, the rear Roadtec has a smooth center and does not have as much grooves with wear bars as other tires, so if you ride a lot of highway miles, you don't have a real good sense of when the tire has to be replaced, so for the first round you'd have to periodically check wear at 500-1K milestones.

Avon Storms.  Still on my first set, but couldn't be happier with them.  Perfect for everyday riding.  Motoxoutlet had them for around $150.00.
