I have been thinking about my Route over to Kampersville in August. I was originally thinking I would ride south and meet Ed to ride out with him. But with the wife following with the truck and everyones stuff I am leaning more twords heading straight there.

I am thinking it may be a 4 hr ride counting stops. I beleive I am comming with Tapeworm and warriorboy in tow. I plan on taking Rt#25 west thru ME then working my way onto Rt #104, then onto Rt#4 across to VT then Rt#7 north to Salisbury.

How is Rt#4 for traveling, I am more intrested in making decent time than good riding roads. I am thinking I will get there early enough to set up camp and make an evening ride.

If anyone is traveling west across those routes maybe we can meet up.

    Whats evryone elses plans?

How is the ride planning going Ed? Have you mapped out rides yet, maybe you can write out route #s and such so us slow movers can follow along behind you pace setters.Wink

My wife plans on seeing some sights at less than warp speedStick out tongue So I will probably be bringing up the rear with the other slow pokesBig Smile

I'm not sure that is the quickest way.

As for Scenery watching.  Keep in mind, my wife is coming too.  I'd like her to do some riding.  She will not be going warp speed on a bike either.

Edit,  Your way does look good.  I just ran it up on Delorme's Streets etc.  They say to go down I-95 to near Ed's, go to I-93 to I-89 etc etc.  That is a laugh.  Usually they are pretty good.  They probably want me to update.

Rt 4 in Nh and Vt is a nice road in a truck or a bike. You didnt mention I-89, but I'd pick up 89 north in Nh and by pass downtown Lebanon Nh and White River Jct Vt. Pickup Rt 4 again at exit 1  in Vt and be on your way.

I'd be up for a ride Friday afternoon there is a bunch of great roads around that area.

I got a great ride planned for Saturday. A long ride mind you, but will be well worth every mile logged. As for all you worried husbands, no need to fret. We will keep it at a decent pace to keep the group all together. I promise I will never get more then 30 minutes ahead of the group.....Big Smile

I was thinking we should do a short ride Friday late afternoon and head back for some good ole' grilling and hanging.

Now, who is bringing the firewood?

Ed, I have taken care of the wood. 1/2 cord remember. By the way I pay paled you for two shirts but I don't see my name on the list. I'll see everybody on the first with plenty of wood.
