Anyone feel like meeting John in Gatlinburg next week.  I'm on vacation from the 4th until the  13th and will be on the Blue Ridge Parkway for a couple of days early in the week.

What part of the parkway you plannin on riding? You better give me a heads up if your heading this way.

the parkway is closed at Craggy Gardens due to a slide and they don't have any $$$$$ to repair it so it will be closed indefinately. They spend all the $$$$ on the wars and rebuilding other countries and say fock it to our National Parks.

Question,where is the best place to buy a new front tire? Mine is slicker than my head and I'm saving my pennies so I can ride before summer is over.

Now I have to spend several days surfing the forum to see whats been going on,unless some one wants to give me a newsbrief!

Don't think we'll get up as far as Spruce Pine on this trip but I've got your number if we do.  It's a three or four hour ride for us just to get to the portion near Cherokee.   I know - three or four hours? - but you gotta remember Janice will be going to.  She hates the curves.  I think we're gonna sign up for a track day weekend or two this fall with the Sportbiketracktime.com guy here in Cleveland.  I think it'll be good for both of us.  I understand it can be addictive too.

I don't mind riding south of Asheville on the pway and meeting up for lunch or something, but I don't want to barge into ya'lls ride.  I'll ride north if you want and stay completely away.

 I had my wife talked into heading down for the day but I got one of those phone calls at 7am,My Aunt that watched me from age 2-6 so my mom could go back to school to become a teacher,passed this morning just about 7am. Looks like the next few days are going to be kinda busy......

Who knows what will happen.  She's got an ear infection now.  Says she's "dizzy"   I said "It's the blonde hair"   -  Had to jerk my head back to miss the right hook on that one
